The Hafen Family planned this 480 acre master planned community.  The development is situated in the southern section of the Town of Pahrump which is surrounded by the Nopah Mountains and the Spring Mountain Range.

The Artesia Development is a quickly growing community.  There are approximately 355 families currently living in their homes and one more anxiously awaiting the completion of theirs.  There are an additional 300 owners scattered throughout the United States and Canada some of who visit the area frequently, take a look at their property and dream of the day when they will begin construction of their home.

The current residents moved here from all parts of the nation and include representatives from all walks of life.  Some of the owners are retired bankers, police officers, education specialists, management personnel, plumbers, electricians, tradesmen, etc.  The Artesia community probably boasts of having a representative from all businesses.

The residents have quickly acclimated to their new surroundings and are helping to make the community a very special and friendly neighborhood.  The Hafen Family's dream to make this community a neighborhood of uncompromising quality is quickly becoming a reality.
