Garages are mandatory in the Artesia community. While most garages are built at the same time that the home is built, you as the owner of the property need to be aware of the following requirements:
- All garages need to be a minimum size to accommodate two (2) cars
- All garages must be constructed with the same roof and exterior materials as the home.
- All garages need to abide by the building setbacks established for Artesia, namely ten (10) feet from the rear property line and five (5) feet from the side property line.
- The garage driveways must be extended and connect to the edge of the street pavement.
- The concrete driveway must follow the contour of the street drainage design.
- Culverts are not allowed to be placed in the street or under the concrete driveway.
No construction without prior approval!
